We had our Honeymoon in Egypt last week and we were lucky enough to be able to do a day trip to Cairo. It was fantastic! I’m glad that I hadn’t read the post about the power cuts before we went in the Great Pyramid though. It was empty, there were only about 5 of us in there total and the two of us had the King’s Chamber to ourselves, awesome.

These two cross stitch pictures have taken around 15 years (!) to complete as I started them when I was quite small. Very proud to have them framed and displayed at last! Although I received two more kits for Christmas, so have in fact replaced this unfinished project with two more, although they don’t count yet as I haven’t started them.
I should mention that this isn’t a Scrapbook in the ‘scrapbooking’ sense of the word but more like a diary, not really using photographs but using tickets, ephemera, postcards, pictures from brochures and magazines etc. I have three holidays which I don’t have a scrapbook for, Paris, Florida and Berlin. Today I completed Paris (well, it was only 2 pages) and I have made a good start on Florida. Really pleased!
