I've got the design ... do I have the willpower? 3 years ago

I’ve decided to do a kind of rainbow blanket because I wanted something that would work well with square patches.

I’ve just worked out that with the size of the squares I’m doing, I’ll need 400 to make a blanket big enough for a double bed.

So far I’ve only made 18.

You know what, I get the feeling this could take a while!

own a Mini

I’ve had my Mini One Seven since January and I absolutely love him. Definately the best car I’ve ever driven – super fun(!). I can’t imagine having any other car now …. unless someone offered me a Bugatti Veyron of course!

decorate my bedroom

I have proper walls! 3 years ago

So, first step to major bedroom makeover: re-plaster.

Now, I’d love to say I’m talented enough to do this myself but .. well, I’d be lying. My input into the whole thing went as far as grabbing the Yellow Pages, phoning a plasterer, letting him in and making copious amounts of tea.

However, I think together we did a grand job and I now have proper walls in my bedroom – none of this gaping hole, bits falling off everywhere malarky that’s been plaguing me for the last three years!

This weekend my boyfriend has promised to sand down all the woodwork for me so I can get round to paininting it. (No, I’m not being lazy – I’ve just fallen off a horse and rather injured myself, so I’m conveniently out of action for the time being!).

Then all I need to do is go chose some wallpaper!!!!

How exciting!
