I’ve been learning Devanagari with these great free online video classes from UPenn: http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/plc/hindi/alphabet/
Just being able to pick up stuff around the house decode the sounds and symbols is amazing so far!

As I wrote in the original Lose Ten: I was 130 at the beginning of the summer, and I am currently 120, but like beautifulheart I would like to be 110 or IDEALLY 100 by the time school starts. The first ten were certainly the easiest for me, as I’ve been flopping around at 120 for a few weeks now. It’s so difficult to resist snacking—I’m hoping I’ll find some support/inspiration here, and in return, I’ll give a lot back! Keep it up, you guys!
