I’m not even all that sure what a backflip is. And my back’s so stiff I struggle to put my underpants on. I think it’s time I admitted that this one ain’t going to happen.

How I did it: Why does 43 Things pester you for more when you just want to write a little bit?Why is there a minimum 150 characters. I only want to write this amount - why can't I? Read how I did it…
A link to this goal said “Learn C+”, but the goal is “Learn C#”. Also, the main “How I did it” story talks about C+. Maybe someone changed a “+” to a ”#” not knowing that C+ and C# are different languages.
This is my most cheered goal with over twice as many cheers as any other of my goals. Yet I’m one of only 2 people doing this.
Although I have this as a goal, I still haven’t decided how I’m going to do it. It seems everything I’m involved in involves having a drink as part of the social side. I have no intention of being tee-total for more than a month at a time again. I was tee-total for 10 years throughout my twenties and I never drink in January. I enjoy the social life that I do have that revolves around alcohol, but I just have a strong intuitive sense that there’s something wrong if all aspects of my social life revolve around drinking something that, let’s face it, makes us temporarily dumb.
Suggestions, anyone?
