pay off my credit card debt
Getting Close 13 months ago

It’s taken me over a year to get here. It’s such an easy thing to rack up charges on your card. In the past year i’ve moved twice because my apartment was broken into and they took everything of value. (word to the wise, renters ins is worth the money… I learned the hard way.)What did I do? Charged whatever I needed to my cards. They are now frozen in a block of ice so I really have to think about it if I want to use them.

Now I’m working 2 jobs and am throwing everything I can towards my debt. $1400 and it’s history. That should be in two months. Then I’m going to work on building my savings.

So, the holidays are over, and I had a big revelation. I am a nurse who works nights, and I don’t sleep well during the day. Often I find that I spend the ENTIRE day either on the couch or in bed with the TV on. I have gained 20 pounds in the last year and enough is enough! It’s time to get up and do something!

I haven’t ran since HS, and have gained at least 20 pounds since last year. I started training a few days ago, so i need all the help/encouragement I can get!
