How I did it: Like most people, I applied to a million places, reviewed all my resumes and tried to make the best impression on the employers, Oh and yes definitely wrote cover letters! Read how I did it…
Okay so I am not naturally a good listener. It is not because I don’t care what people are saying, but I have a bit of ADD. Here is the deal though. Once I am engaged I get super into what people are saying and feeling. I think it has to do with me not reading as a child (lol). I mean it. Reading is wonderful and it helps the attention span and also when you read you are forced to be attentive and can’t really redirect your attention to anything else, including yourself. I am forcing myself to read a novel. I never liked novels because I am not really good with fiction (weird I know). I can be overly practical. Well, this was suppose to be about becoming a better listener. This sometimes come naturally to me but at other times it doesnt. I am glad I revisited my to do list because I have not been doing too well, I think.
