just saw that on 9gag
Hey guys, want to donate?
Here’s a easy way : fight famine in Africa, help the UNICEF! With the TOILET TO POCKET project! Have a look, it’s also a funny project:

You don’t need to give a lot, even a small amount will help!
Come on guys, we can do this, just a few clicks and a few bucks :)
I figured that dating sites weren’t exactly cool but… oh my!
Are they THAT boring??? Mens are always sending the same kind of messages..no imagination at all. And they always have the same empty / no picture profiles.. so uninteresting!
Definitely not for me. Today i’m cancelling my subscription.
1) started playing badminton with a friend, we’re playing 1 hour every week
2) started yoga (not real “exercice” but still good for my body/mind) 1h30 every week
3) riding my bike instead of taking the bus
4) randomly: 20 minutes of basketball with a friend
..feeling great about this goal :)
i’m so happy because i’m finally eating healthier without obsessing about it :)
I’m really lucky because my parents have a garden, and i also suscribed for a weekly “vegetable + fruit basket”, so it means i had plenty of good stuff all summer: zucchini, eggplants, tomatoes, salads, carrots, fresh basil, potatoes, grapes, apples, ... all local, seasonal, and more and more organic.
With this kind of food it’s so easy to lose weight, even when eating a lot (and believe me, i do eat a lot, all day, but it’s always fruits).
I also started badminton again, and yoga, and sometimes just 20 minutes of basketball with a friend who lives 5 minutes from my flat, and i ride my bike to go to town or to the station. So it helps burning calories!
Of course i always want to eat something sweet (it always happens in the afternoon), but instead of biscuits, chocolate yogourts or fu**king Nutella, i eat dried figues, dried dates, cashew nuts or dark organic chocolate.
It seems to work so i’ll keep doing it! It will be harder in winter without all those summer vegetables, but i’ll replace the salads with nice soups :)
The Toilet to Pocket Project ! 50 days left to get involved and donate: http://5050.gd/projects/toilet-to-pocket !
With my roommate, we’ve decided to participate, so we’ve printed the toilet dashboard (see picture) and paste it on our bathroom’s door :)
YOU CAN ALSO PARTICIPATE ! at home.. or at work :)
http://www.relaxintheair.com/TOILETTOPOCKET/Toilet-to-Pocket.html
1. Choose the dashboard (PDF) you want to download either you’re engaging at work, at home or with your kids.
2. Print it and stick it to the toilet door.
3. Choose the amount you would like to donate every time you go to the toilet (even the smallest amount would help).
4. Count your visits to the toilet on the dashboard.
and most of all.. SPREAD THE WORD
it’s been a few months now, and i can play a few really easy songs with easy chords.
i’ve found really good youtube channels to start, and thought it could be nice to share it:
- GuitarJamz: Marty is a really good teacher, a must watch!
http://www.youtube.com/user/martyzsongs
- Mahalo.com YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/mahalodotcom#g/c/BE077DEF7EB33D00
if you have a smartphone, look for free guitar apps, they’re really useful. For example to tune your guitar, or having a chords index everywhere you go.
well, after years of thinking i’ll find someone by going out or by meeting friends of friends… i’ve decided to try something else: online dating :P
not convinced at all by it, but 2 good friends met their boyfriend like that, and told me i should try and see how it goes.
so, yesterday, i’ve created a profile on “Meetic Affinity” – you have to pay to see people’s pictures and messages! I don’t really know how to chat with strangers but.. i’ll try :)
It’s a new challenge !
I want to learn spanish in Spain.
It costs a lot of money though, and i can’t drop my work, so i really have to think of a way of doing it.
It’s my job to built websites. When it comes to my OWN websites, or websites for family or friends, i feel too much pressure, and then this feeling becomes pure laziness.
i’ve been paying for a host & DNS for years now, thinking that i’ll put my portfolio or blog on it, but there’s still nothing on it, just a stupid “coming soon” page..
I have a LOT of free time.. this year i’m just working 2 days a week, and from home. So cool! I could do so many stuff… but no :(
My big problem is that having nobody to supervise me, i’m ending up doing NOTHING.
I really want to change that.. any tips welcome!
Working from home has a big downside: you’re tempted not going out at all! And it’s not doing any good to my mood.
So, let’s try walking outside daily – but it’s okay if it’s less than 30 minutes ;)
