How to walk to Rivendell

How I did it: Well, I worked out how much I walk normally and tracked those walks but I also used a pedometer for some of it until I found out that was unreliable so I moved to working it out on google maps.I planned some extra walks early on and often kept doing so partly because of this goal. Canvas 6 hours ago

Today I checked out canvas sizes and prices and I have found the shape & size I want to go for, now I just need to scout around for the best price because I suspect that where I was looking was not the cheapest.

I’ve also done a bit of work on sorting out all my old paint brushes which I used to have a bad habit of not washing the paint out properly! Some will be rescued, if not all :)

Manage my money well (read all 8 entries…)
The last two weeks 1 day ago

I did really well in the first week but then I had a lot of unexpected costs with being unwell… a lot of strictness went out the window.

Though, tomorrow is my pay day and I will be in a slightly better place than I was last payday.

However, there are lots of bills to pay this fortnight AND I am going away on a trip, SO I think that I am going to have to aim, rather than to improve my situation, to not let it get worse by a certain amount… this sounds kind of bad to me… and I may spend outside my means… I’m hoping not but we’ll see.

I plan to be much more disciplined in tracking my spending too so this will help keep me on track. I will be really happy if I am in the same spot I am now in two weeks, that’s a target!
