When i put this down on my list i meant earn my degree and actually have a classroom of my own but for the past three years i have worked at boces, a school for special ed kids. I teach them there every day. I may not be teaching them how to add or subtract as much as i would if i was not an aide, but i teach them other skills that they will need in life like how to interact with others. I have become a teacher and I am proud of that.

I took American Sign Language at school this semester and I got an A! It’s crazy how many people you will randomly be talking to and you don’t even notice that you are signing and they are like “o cool! i know sign also!”
it’s such a great skill to have. i am so glad i decided to take it up! =)
I tried to keep up with this.. i really did and I think I did a good job when I was able to but sometimes I just get too busy.. I recommend this to everyone and hopefully they can do it for longer than I was able to. It was always a way to positively reflect on my days. It showed me that even the crappiest ones had something good about them.
