I have always been very capable of allowing others to have their own opinions, ideas, or even spew out facts that i know to be incorrect. I’m not going to stop them because it doesn’t matter to me whether or not they go through life believing the wrong things.

It’s easy to let others win when it’s over something trivial. But to let someone win, and I mean really give them the entire upper hand, that I find impossible. I have a lot of pride and it’s hard to let go of that, even when it’s necessary to.

But sometimes the hard thing and the right thing are the same.

figure out what i believe in

There is just so much in the world that I can’t even begin to sort through it. Every different belief, ideal, religion has at least one thing that sounds amazing. Ghosts, God, the afterlife, hell, reincarnation, love, people – there is just too much to believe in. It can’t all be worth buying into, but I would like to believe in something without questioning it.
