How I did it: Yelped Belly Dancing in Boston/Cambridge.  Realized the first session at a place right by the T (Dance Complex -- Central Sa) started this Weds.  Emailed the instructor about the possibility of a walk-in trial.  Had to get over a ton of excuses I invented at the last min (too busy, GI issues, can't find the place, etc.)  to suck it up and just do it.  Turned out to be a lot of fun--  I struck up a conversatio… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Read the survival guide & built a shopping list Signed up with Green Tortoise which streamlined transportation, food, and camping space Created list of friend burners and their coordinates in the city Didn't expect to be able to find folks in a 50,000 person city where everyone wanders around all day and cell phones hardly ever work, but somehow I met up with them all.  Had a really great time!  Read how I did it…
