How I did it: I got a big promotion at work last year. After working hard for 4 years, I got promoted to manager at my job, and am finally making enough money to live comfortably. I am even putting 10% of my salary towards my 401k every paycheck, and $200 into my savings monthly. It feels good to finally be saving money, not just living to pay the bills. How I did it: Honestly, it could not have been done without the help of my extremely generous uncle, who has money and loves to help his family members out.
