The vineyard sent 2 dates – the first coincided with my sister’s wedding and the second with the 5th annual historic house tour to which I had already committed (plus I invited friends to dinner in Maine) – SO – not this year. I may have to let this goal go…

Reading Is Fundamental

MFM are my initials. My first name is Mary. What is sort of disturbing is that sometimes under the Advertisements section MFM comes up with lots of Male-Female-Male links – who knew?

You never know when having the lyrics to “Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me” or “Rose Tint My World” at the tip of your tongue will come in handy.

Yeah Kath! She is getting me kick started and has gone through 1 whole skien.

The rescheduled date is this coming Saturday and I will be out of the country.

I used to have the goal as “have more friends” and I have made some new friends recently, but when I saw THIS goal I realized this is more what I was thinking with the old one. So – I’m going to accept all offers and make more plans with different people and for activities I may have shied away from before (although I have always been sort of an “up for anything” type of person) and see what that brings!

I am half way ready and even got some dollars for change – came home early from vacation so I would be in the area for an early start and the person holding the sale just left me a message to say it is cancelled!! Reasons seem sketchy – something about advertising. Since my summer schedule is already packed and I do not know what they are going to do about rescheduling, this one is going to move lower on my list. Wish there was an “on hold” option…

One of my sisters brought 2 bags of items to me to be included with my sale items this Saturday. Naturally – I have note even gathered 1 item. Does it count that I have been away on vacation this week? Probably not. Head home tomorrow so maybe I will rally…

It was excellent! Be sure to follow the directions carefully:
Uncap 2 liter bottle of diet soda
Make funnel and fill with packet of Mentos (test to be sure it is wide enough)
Place business card over top of bottle and funnel on business card
Pull card to release Mentos into soda
STAND BACK – the resulting geyser is impressive!

But not as impressive as the real guys who did it on Letterman.
