there is a requirement that a certain percentage of crops be destroyed each harvest. give me just one good reason for that.

How I did it: it just sort of happened. i taught myself to dream about specific things by, before falling asleep, thinking "i will dream tonight about ___ and i will remember it in the morning." it worked! one night i just knew i was dreaming and so i decided to fly and it worked. i don't know, it's not really something you LEARN (at least not for me). How I did it: my boyfriend and i knit 25, 6" squares in blue and gray in an alternating knit/purl checker pattern, then sewed them all together to make one big chckerboard. to finish it off i added a crochet border in tan. it took us only a few weeks by knitting two squares per day. we gave the finished product to our friends who just had a baby, and they are really enjoying it. now i'm on my second quilt- a denim scraps one! How I did it: i worked at it constantly, quarter by quarter, settling for nothing less than the best. when i had a 3.9 on my first report card of the year, i was completely dissatisfied. i put it on my magnet board right above my desk as a constant reminder of my goal, and kept it in mind as i did my homework and studied hard for tests. I really wanted to do this, but I haven’t had any time, which stresses me out. Hmmm. I think in the Summer time it’ll be a lot easier.
I’m really hoping daily or weekly meditation will help me find a balance or a path in life and get more in touch with my world. Outside sounds like a good place to do so.
