Apocryphal one hit the nail on the head with “It’s not worth the time or $$$ unless you have visitors and something to sell.”
I had my own Domain Name WAAAY back when, when it cost $72 for two years. I only ever ran my personal website (this was the pre-blog years) WAY BEFORE google.com even.

I did a google.com search for gmail invitation and came across a website that specializes in gmail invitation exchange.
Basically, they give you a free invite and you promise to come back and give them invites to give to others (it’s an honor system, so you don’t REALLY HAVE TO).
I guess it’s rather silly that so many people actually paid for invites through eBay.com

I’ve previously used FireFox but I don’t care for the tabs.
This is the second time I set FireFox as my default browser as lat time I actually went back to Internet Explorer.
But ALAS! Microsoft added tabs as well, so now I’m back to FireFox because I like how it saves passwords for all websites.
Internet Explorer will NOT save passwords to financial websites which I assume is for security reasons, but HEY! I’m a risk taker and I don’t want my web browser to tell me what I can and can’t risk.
