or should i say organise my life better :p somehow, whenever I’m having a day off, there’s a 3 hour gap between the moment I wake up and the moment I actually start doing something. Whenever I’m working (at home) and I take a break, the break turns out to be a 2 hour break instead of the 10min I planned. Everytime I have a week off, I think yeahhh I’m gonna do lots of stuff this week! At the end off the week I haven’t even done half of it.

Now that I live on my own, I just can’t understand how my parents did this everyday! I just can’t put my self to it! I have to stand in the kitchen for an hour and a half, and that includes cleaning up the kitchen befor I start which is a drag by itself, and after that I finnish my plate in 10min. It just doesnt add up! 90min of work for 10min of fun. I need to find simple but great tasting recipes, stuff thats done in 30min or less, with simple ingredients (most cookbooks make you search for stuff you didnt even know existed, which can be nice, but not when you’re hungry! I’ll do that in weekends) and it should be healthy!

It’s not like my house is really dirty or something, there’s just too much stuff laying around most of the time. Clothes, magazines, groceries, plastic bags. And it pisses me off too! Whenever I wake up I think damnnn it’s a mess, again!! Whenever I clean it up it takes me about a week untill I’ve made it a mess again, so recently I decided I might as well stop tryin, but I found out thats not so smart either cause now it just takes much much longer too clean it all up, which offcourse makes me not wanting to do it at all!! Talking about a vicious circle! Also, a clean, organised, good looking house makes me happier, so today I will start! I mean tomorrow, it’s 2:30am now, I should really go to bed earlier and stop my internet addiction!

I mean look at it… I’ve had this haircut since I was 13, I used to put a lot of gel/wax in it, but nowadays I just let it hang. It’s not that I really mind, thats probably why I’ve had it like this for the last 11 years, but it makes me look like a nerd! Which I probably am a bit, but that doesn’t mean I should look like one! I want something that I dont have to put a lot of effort in, and still looks kinda hip, instead of this 90s boyband hairdo. All advice is welcome offcourse!

Back in the days, I had to ride my bicycle for at least 70 minutes every day, I played outside even when it rained, I used to climb trees, row my boat, build treehouses(although they were not in trees most of the time but you know what i mean), I collected hazelnuts to put into a cake, I made my own bow from a branch, I even made my own nunchucks! And now, I only go outside to walk to my car or to throw away garbage! I suck! I need to find a cool outdoor activity, get my hands dirty, smell grass, fall out of trees and stuff. I was thinking about joining the scouts, but I guess thats just too much to start with. Also, I dont know anything about knots, so I dont even think the scouts will want me. I need to find some kind of Treeclimbing organisation around here!

Learn French.
I’ve been goin on holiday to France for so many years, and it seems they just wont learn English (or Dutch), so I guess I’m going to have to start learning French. It’s just not very practical, every time I go and pay for my gas, I just pray that they wont start asking weird stuff, and have me looking like an idiot, “Que?”. I already have a French audio course on my computer, so all I have to do is put it on my Ipod and listen to it in my car. Shouldnt be so hard! I can do that! Oui Oui!

My main thing to do is make music, I also go to a school for music. But sometimes, its like i’m only doing 2 things in life, making music and reading the internet. Everytime I take a break from making music, which I do on my PC, I grab my laptop to go check whats new on the internet, I do the same stupid stuff I do when I should be sleeping (see my going to bed early entry). I check my email too much, I check the news sites too much, I check the gossip blogs too much, all for no reason, or maybe just to have something to do/read. Also, sometimes when I’m not all that inspired to go and make some music, I click on my internet explorer and start browsing, for hours… Also, when I’m making music, and I for instance hear something reminding me of a song I know, I start to check for the song on youtube, find the artist on wikipedia, check his discography on Amazon, read his biography, check what gear they used, and befor I know it, I’m no longer making music but I’m doing a study on 10 diffirent musicians. And this happens all the time! I should really unplug my computer from the internet more often. I also need to find something better to do in my breaks, not involving watching a screen, tv or laptop, or Nintendo DS etc.

I always stay up as late as possible, if I dont have to wake up early the next day I usually stay up till around 4am, most of the time I’m boring my ass off the last few hours, browsing on the Internet reading stuff I dont really need or want to know. Stuff about Britney Spears, what did Lindsey Lohan say to Paris Hilton at that party, why did Jay-Z shave his armpits. I dont care! But I still have the urge to consume all this useless information, because I can :s I want to be able to just go to bed at a decent time, feeling satisfied, not wondering whats going on on the internet or without having the feeling I still want to do something today! So I can wake up early the next day and spent my time right, instead of waking up @ 11:30am, feeling tired and bummed that half of my day is over. I’m so stupid sometimes!!!

As a musician who works mainly on a PC with a midikeyboard controlling all kinds of synths, its pretty handy to play the piano well. But I dont havent had the patience yet, I’d rather start making something instead of taking an hour everyday to practice and learn some new stuff! I took lessons 3 years ago but the teacher only knew classical stuff so that made me stop going. I know some basic stuff basic chords, turn the chords arround, finding the notes in a key, but i’m still way to slow.
