A lot of things have happened in the past month, and the past two weeks may rank pretty high on the ‘suckiest times of my life’ list. The stress and sadness has caused me to turn to exercise as an outlet. As for eating, I only do it to keep my body alive since my appetite is all but gone. Because of these things, I’ve lost about 15 pounds, going from roughly 137 to 122. This is the lowest I’ve even weighed since I was 11. It’s interesting because the way I feel about my body is the same, but almost all my clothes don’t fit anymore. I like fitting into smaller clothes :)
I want to see how I will look if I lose a few more pounds, so I will set my goal weight as 115. Wish me luck!

I’ve been trying to do this all summer! I went to bed by 11:50 PM last night, and actually woke up at 6 this morning refreshed and ready for the day. I knew I had to wake up early today to get to my 8 AM class, but this morning exceeded my expectations :)
Hopefully I’ll be able to do this the rest of the week and even…the rest of the summer (gasp!) Though I’m not going to hold my breath.

Local Library

Yesterday night I enrolled for the adult summer reading program at my library, which should act as an encouragement for this goal. :)
I did this program last year, and actually got a prize! But really, the real reward is finding time to read despite my busy schedule and my summer Anatomy/Physiology II class that starts next track (Eek!). I don’t really count reading my school texts towards this goal, so somehow, I have to find time for a good book even after my eyes have been aching from reading about the smallest (and dare I say boring) factoids about the human body.
