How I did it: tina and petra in the desert of Jordan. So magical... so romantic. We met such wonderful people. We stayed with an iraqi family in Amman, friends of Tina's friend in Brussels. They were so nice for us and took such good care of us. In Petra we met two Bedouins and it was same same there but different :-) I cried when I had to go back. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made the house birthday-ish with balloons and colourful festoons. There was a lot of champagne and we played games. Later when everybody had left except the other birthday boy and my boyfriend we went to explore what was behind our garden to find a place to try out the boomerang. It turned out to be some kind of swamp and me and the other birthdayboy sunk in until our thighs. It was hilarious for some reason and we all got superdirty, a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was the first time we invited so much people in our garden/house (15 guests), so we had to ask some of them to bring their own chairs :-) We put our black couch in the garden to relax in the sun.I made lots of summery/italian/greek appetizers, mojitos and self-made lemonade. I also bought two glittery hoops for me and my friends to play with. We also blow bubbles, played petanque and limbo danced. My boyfriend was an excelent BBQ chef.… Read how I did it…

Is being clear about what you want! (when you do know it) So talk Mafaldita. Don’t be shy.
Moral of this weekend: if you DO know for once what you want. Be clear about it… Situation: I was going to a friend in Brussels and she was having a party afterwards I also wanted to go to. I did not dare to text her about it before and I also thought she was going to invite me anyway. But she did not. It made me feel sad and insecure. I am confused. I will just let it go and keep some distance now.
So next time I will be clearer about what I want. Take the risk and if you are rejected that is that.
shame on me…can not happen again!
15th of November: I drove to the coast (heavy rain!). I gave my grandmum lots of hugs and the wild animal calender my boyfriend bought for her (he is such a sweet pie)
In the beginning she seemed slightly sad (maybe because it was such a long time ago)but I managed to cheer her up with my stories about pretty sweet boys in Jordan. :-) She loved that!
I also brought her the magazine that interviewed me about gender equality in the EU elections. She liked that, she looked interested and proud!
I also did her nails.
Next date is already in my agenda: 20 December, when I am back from my work in Nijmegen.
