How I did it: I was taught how to crochet at a festival by a kind woman who had a stall dedicated to the cause. When I came home, I got myself a crochet hook and some yarn and looked up tutorials on youtube to anchor my newly found skills.I set myself a task to crochet a basic granny blanket, and haven't stopped since!  Read how I did it…

I am so glad I came up with the idea to do this. It makes people feel like they are part of my life, which is what I wanted. And it makes me feel like I am giving something, something so much more than material things or a compliment could give. And it will make my happy blanket so much more special.
