OK… I might as well write it myself.. my three years in China flew by with very little cooking and a lot of da baos (take away) and restaurant visits, but.. being back in Denmark/the US, I have started cooking again :oD
Two new recipes so far in April:

By Katie Fforde
Not up to Fforde’s usual standard, or whatever you can call it ;o) Found it quite boring, to tell the truth, but at least it was a quick read ;o)
Review from amazon.co.uk:
Thea, the heroine of Katie Fforde’s Artistic Licence, is a disorganised 35-year-old whose life is going nowhere. Or that is how it appears to her student lodgers—whom she unwittingly mothers—and to her older friend Molly, a lady of leisure with a missed vocation as a chief executive. When Thea jets off to Ireland on a whim to stay with the devastatingly good-looking artist Rory, all her friends from her new hometown of Cheltenham are appalled. Equally, when Thea, on seeing Rory’s heart-wrenchingly beautiful landscape paintings, decides to set up an art gallery in provincial west of England, her friends cannot believe what they are hearing.
Katie Fforde makes clear that Thea knows what she’s doing, and that her chaotic and messy lifestyle is her own conscious choice. Her determined resistance to the persistent Irish charmer Rory—he’s too young, she doesn’t have casual affairs—and the apparent ambivalence of Ben, a divorced and know-it-all artistic director of an ad agency, sets up a plot where the embryonic art gallery and Thea’s accompanying search for a more satisfying life form centre stage, making any love interest incidental.

Supposedly a great book – and of course it makes sense that now that I am lots and lots of books behind reaching my target, I choose one with 694 pages ;o) Didn’t like it that much though.. guess I am not mainstream enough always ;oD

By Cecelia Ahern
Another lovely story from Ahern, who really seems to be able to make up the strangest dilemmas ;o)
Review from amazon.co.uk:
Lose yourself in the magical new novel from Cecelia Ahern – the No.1 bestselling author of PS, I Love You.
How can you know someone you’ve never met? Joyce Conway remembers things she shouldn’t. She knows about tiny cobbled streets in Paris, which she has never visited. And every night she dreams about an unknown little girl with blonde hair. When she leaves hospital after a terrible accident, with her life and her marriage in pieces, Joyce moves back in with her elderly father. All the while, a strong sense of deja vu is overwhelming her and she can’t figure out why!
Justin Hitchcock is divorced, lonely and restless. He arrives in Dublin to give a lecture on art and meets attractive doctor Sarah, who persuades him to donate blood. It’s the first thing to come straight from his heart in a long time. When Justin receives a basket of muffins with a note simply saying thank you,he is sure someone is playing a trick on him. But then a series of gifts begin to arrive. Intrigued and disturbed, Justin is determined to find out who is sending them. What he discovers will change his life forever.

By Stieg Larsson
Third installment in the series about a Swedish journalist, a 1.5 m tall female hacker and seriously strange person and a number of other characters, this time unravelling the past of the hacker one ;o)
“Fortunately” (Stieg Larsson has unfortunately died very young) the last book of the series, as I am finding this one rather boring and much too long, to tell the truth.. Sigh!
Review from saxo.com in Danish:
To hårdt sårede personer bliver bragt til Sahlgrenska Sygehus i Göteborg.
Stærke kræfter vil gøre hende tavs én gang for alle.

By Stephen King
My very first audio book! But must admit I find it quite hard to “just” listen to a book. Normally, when I am listening to something on the MP3 player, I am busy doing other things, such as reading ;o), but I have discovered that that does not work too well with an audio book G Have thus listened to it twice!!
Review from amazon.co.uk:
