Make a weekend of it!

Start out in a certain section of the city and just go up and down every main street, most side streets, and go into just about every shop, even if it doesn’t look too appealing from the outside. You will (pleasantly) surprise yourself, especially if you get into conversation with the people that work there. The key is a happy, mellow demeanour and a curious nature. Even the smallest city has its small but worthy treasures.
