AHHHH ! How frustrating turns out I used the wrong book! The book turn out to be for Adobe Illustrator not Adobe CS3 which I have. That expalin why I can’t do lots of things that the book was trying to show me. A visit to the library would solve this set back.

School is starting in a few days time. I believe in order for me to get my ultimate goal of 4.0, I need to devote and carefully plan all the time given. I need to study atleast two hours a day for the problems solved during school hours(my school goes by problem-based learning we solve problems given to us, graded for it and after which we have to take an understanding test). That should be able to improve my understanding results. To improve daily grades, I have to show the lecture that I really understand the problem. Once again, I have to invest the time given to me wisely. This could mean that I have to skip my lunch(probably eat at class while doing my work,maybe take just a 10min break) to complete the worksheet and research more before the last meeting. Last meeting is when I have to present the solution to the problem of the day.At the end of the day, we have to do reflection journals. Reflection journals are taken very seriously and could greatly affect daily grades. Reflection journals must be submitted at 11.59pm. I need to find a good slot in my time table to devote my time to reflection journals. So the plan is make time for everytime. Other problem that I NEED to address is learning to work in a team and staying enthusiastic.

I just completed the first chapter of my photoshop guide book. Learned alot however I can’t find certain things that the book showed such as the smart guides. I learned a few useful foundation skills though such as grids and guides. Next chapter will deal with drawing lines and shapes using the tools on Photoshop.
