Since being baptized in November of 2006, I have become more involved in my church and have worked on growing in my faith. Recently, our pastor launched a campaign in which he challenged the whole church to read the book “Praying by the Power of the Spirit” by Neil T. Anderson. I am currently in my fourth week of this study and my prayer life has changed dramatically. I now find myself talking to God throughout my day.

Labor Day Weekend in Cabo!

My roommate, Andrea, and I took a cruise last September to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was cheap and a perfect, long weekend get-away to end the summer.

I now live only 90 miles away from her. I try to visit about once a month. I definitely worry if I don’t get to talk to her at least biweekly.
