Another great year of enjoying the Blues Fest in Chi-town. It was absolutely beautiful out that day! Took the train and packed a big cooler full of food, snacks and drinks. Layed our blankets out, soaked up the sun and enjoyed the music. We’d move around to check out different acts. Played charades in the park, took pics by the fountain, watched street performers, got our hands read, ran around playing tag and even doing cartwheels! Had such a great day w/ my girls and babylove.

How I did it: I take online classes a few days a week still. Meet up w/ my fellow classmates once a month downtown to motivate eachother. It feels amazing to have such a strong support group. I'm still not done since classes end in October, but I've come so far already I might as well mark it off as done! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I actually haven't been on 43things for quite some time!! I missed it but I needed to let go for a lil while and start taking things more seriously! Basically, I just started taking a few more business classes. Every day even if it was just for an hour or so, I would work on my etsy shop. Take pics, write descriptions, measure, brain storm. I knew I wanted this really bad and I knew the only thing stopping me from doing it was.....me Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was HARD in the beginning, but it got easier w/ time. I also wanted to prove to my kids as well as myself, that we should appreciate what we already own. After the first few months, I couldnt believe how much $$ I was saving on not shopping for clothes AND not eating out at work. With the $ I started saving, I started throwing it into my daughters account and my savings account. I feel soo powerful now! I have a lot of clothes alr… Read how I did it…

My 10 yr. old and I are reading “why are boys so weird?” an 80’s book that she was given at a garage sale for free, when she told the woman she loved to read. Yay! We love free…
And my oldest is reading “Icy Sparks”. She’s trying to go down the list of books I have enjoyed.
