holding grudges.

holding grudges is a very bad habit of mine.
In September of last year my mom married an active alcoholic. He lives with us now.
it is so hard not to just let it go.
I know he “never really done anything to hurt me” but still!
I’ve had to leave my home because of him drinking. I think that affects me pretty badly.
its hard for me to respect him at all because i dont feel he deserves it, even if he’s the adult and im the child.
My mom was talking to me about how people that hold grudges tend to be more depressed because they’re worrying about the anger inside of them. And i think what she says is true.
On a positive note, I did say “thank you” to him today when he gave me some money for food, so i guess that a step in the right direction.
just a little side note here, I have similar forgiveness issues with my dad.

i guess im just looking forward to who i’ll meet in the future now.
i dont really have a sexual orientation anymore. I was explaining this to one of my friends. I love everyone, and that includes transexuals and transvestives.
