It was a blast. There are a TON of places to see and so much to do. Really. I think I need a month worth of vacation time to visit. I absolutely loved the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and walking around Theodore Roosevelt island. Plus ice skating in the park was fun. It made visiting D.C in the cold well worth it.
The monuments were amazing. Arlington Cemetery was beautiful and enlightening.
Aside from the sites to see…The food was awesome! I’m a foodie, and loved all the places I went to eat. No complaints about visiting the city from me. :)

How I did it
How I did it: I put aside things I didn't use/want anymore room by room, and came back to each room every month for three months getting rid of more stuff I could do without.I sorted everything into three piles. One: Throw out cause it can't be saved/reusedTwo: Try to sell on ebayThree: Donate!I have a laundry basket full of things I'm going to try to sell on ebay, and see how that goes. The rest are going to the Humane Society Thrift Store.
