I’m not sure how I feel about various interpretations of “collective” – I’m going to be more specific and say that I want a loose association of collaborators – not, for example, housemates of some kind or other, as apparently some folks think of this as a living situation rather than a working life situation. So. Collaborate: yes. Join a housing situation….meh, no thanks.

How I did it: I worked with my MD on this; among other things, it was stress related. Suffice to say, it's a long term process, and until you address the environmental factors in your life that are causing your subconscious mind to trigger that grinding-teeth compensation behavior, it's not going to just go away. Interim measures I found help: work with your dentist to get a nice "night guard" - although you can usually get one for like, $6 from a spor… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It just took diligence, pretty much. I tried reading books, and I can't stand videos. Getting to classes was a logistical nightmare (time to get there, etc.) but eventually I found just a silly looking cheesy set of little magnets - yes, a sheet of magnets that go up on your fridge. They show the poses/movements, and name the movements. I can order & reorder them at need. It's goofy, but it works for me! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'd been wanting to get back into my taiji routine for years, but wanted a good instructor who knew the long-form of Yang style taiji. I liked the guy at a friend's gym, but they were in downtown Boston (chinatown district) - so that meant impossible parking after work. This spring/summer they moved to a new, renovated space in another district where I can easily get to after the office, and that helped with the logistics. Once I'd been t… Read how I did it…

that absolutely no one manages to search on this concept (“art collective”) before entering it as a goal; with the result that there are…was it 2,037 similar entries for goal titles? ::chortle::
So yeah. This might happen. Stay tuned.
