I used to read like it was going out of style (and, unfortunately, it is) when I was a kid. It really increased my vocabulary and intelligence in general, too. And I have so many books on my Must Read list, seems like now is as good a time as any. I just hope I can do it, what with balancing classes right now, too, all of which are pretty homework-heavy this year. I have an awful lot of books I’ve read halfway through and then forgotten about. I think my goal is to start with them and get them out of the way, and then tackle my way through the bookcase in my room until I’ve read them all.
1. First, finish up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I’ve read it before, but the whole series is my comfort place when I’m upset, so I frequently reread them, and I happen to have picked up again a few days ago. About halfway through. Wish all books were this good.)
2. Finish reading (in this order): The Fountainhead (which I actually love. No idea why I put it down.), The Golden Compass, Blue Like Jazz (another good one), The Kite Runner, For Whom the Bell Tolls (may have to start that one over, I don’t remember much), and Wicked.
3. Read my Must Read list (I’ll make a list when I get there).
