I used to have a dog when I grew up. She was my best friend. When she died, I felt no other dog could ever replace her. Maybe now, if and when I get out of the city and live on the countryside, I will have a dog again.

When I was in second grade, I knew I wanted to be a writer. I never got around admitting to myself that I was a writer, untill I was almost thirty! Before that, I tried many different things and never found anything as fulfilling as writing can be. Now that I have finally chosen that this is who I am and who I want to be, I’m so much happier with myself.
I’m working on a novel for 5 years now. I try to write every day. Sometimes I just go on and on, and then, for weeks, I can’t seem to get anything down on paper. Writing is exhilirating and excruciating at the same time. And I wouldn’t know what else to do! But I sometimes wonder if I’m ever going to finish the book.
