Started in late March, and I’ve been keeping up with it daily since then. It’s not exactly a journal, but in the end I’ll probably look back and see that it was.

It’s impossible to work 100+ hours per week and still pound the pavement looking for gifts. Too bad. Doesn’t mean I won’t be hitting the farmers’ markets when they start up again, though.
Got the Sony A100. Tried it out, and it went back. I was dissatisfied with the quality of low light photos.
Replaced it with a Pentax K10D. I couldn’t be happier. It was more money than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. I can see my photos improving. This lifts me out of the “untalented rank amateur” category and puts me firmly into the “untalented rank amateur with a pretty damn good camera” category.
I can see that I’m going to have to start working on white balance indoors at work, though. (Yes, taking pictures is part of my job, though they don’t expect professional quality. Whew.)
