Here’s how one observer put it: “Easy credit is a wall around the poor.” It’ll keep you poor. The big banks have no qualms about robbing you blind, it’s what they’re in business for. The only one who’s going to get you out of debt is yourself, and you’re only going to do it by living within your means.

Pay off your highest-rate debt at the fastest-possible clip. Then cut up that card. That stuff will bleed you dry.

Don’t spend money you don’t have to buy things you don’t need to impress people you don’t even like!

And painful as it may be to realize this, truly expert architects aren’t trolling on 43things for new clients ;)

The good ones already have more work than they can handle. You have to find them. Look at the most beautiful new houses where you live (there are bound to be some!) Walk right up to the front door and knock. They’ll be happy to tell you who designed it.

EDIT YOUR LIFE is the advice, and I intend to follow it.

Decide what’s most important, most productive, most meaningful, most enjoyable, and most efficient. Discard the rest.
