The psychiatrist who is overseeing the antidepressants said from the beginning that he thought I should be on them forever, and that going off them was a bad idea “I think they help you more than you realize”. I think he means well; we just have very different views on pharmaceuticals. Well, last appointment, it was time to talk about it since it’s been two years—plenty of time to get stabilized. And he suggested that I taper off the Zoloft which was giving me some side effects, and stay on the (tiny dose of) Wellbutrin.
So, for now, that’s what I’m doing. I’m almost done with the tapering process and so far, so good. I can feel things shifting although I would be hard-pressed to describe just how.
The last two lantanas that were still in pots have died, so I’m letting this one go. It may reappear if I buy more plants this year.
