Took a few basic classes at a chef’s school ages ago… though now I would rather just learn to cook & experiment at home!

I’ve been training with my master for a year and a half. I’ll be eligible for my blackbelt test after 2 years training with him but I don’t know if I’ll get it right away since I’m still fat!
I want to lose more weight and become more fit before I attempt the test. I know I will get the blackbelt, but I just want to make sure I feel as though I deserve it.
I sort of did this. I take Kung Fu & Sparring and it’s at my gym now… so I bought a membership and am probably more motivated to go by the kung fu than by the actual gym.
It sort of counts?
My brother and I visited the Emerald Isle in May 2007 and it was an incredible trip!
We took a Shamrocker bus tour around Ireland and Northern Ireland and got to see all the interesting stuff in the country. My favourite place was the sea shore and the country. Soo beautiful!
The people were friendly and I personally liked most of the food. Definitely worth it!
I was a little afraid, but I went ahead and did it and now I can’t possibly move back in with my parents. Totally worth it!
I got zapped for the first time in Oct. 2007. It’s a pretty simple and painless procedure, but because of my phobia it was literally the single hardest thing I have done in my life thus far.
And of course I had to get re-zapped in June :(
Oh well. I did it, and I lived. And now I have 20/20! woohoo!
I got my nose pierced before it became “cool” to do so. Now everywhere I look girls have them done. Older women and younger girls, too. I think it’s pretty sad. So many of them don’t look good with their nose pierced. And even more of them don’t know how to take care of it properly.
I thought it was worth it for ME to get it done as a form of self-expression, but I don’t think the majority of people out there should get it done. I don’t like the fact that it’s turned into a trend. I got mine done on a trip to Paris when I was 16. The look of shock on my mother’s face when I got off the plane was priceless. But then she conceeded that yes, it does actually look beautiful on me.
Oh well, at least you can take it out if you regret it. I feel bad for the “trendy girls” who regret their tattoos 5 years from now. Suckers.
Tabsie made me some prayer bead things. They’re awesome! She’s made me other cool stuff, too!
I borrowed money from my Granny for a trip to Europe in 2005. It was the time of my life. After I got back I got a job and paid her off $1000/month for 6 months and was done. Now whenever I need to borrow money she’s cool with it because I’m “responsible”. :)
ipods are my friends. I got a job at Future Shop as a seasonal associate just so I could get the employee discount. I spent more then I made my whole 2 weeks there. My sexy ipod nano was one of the things I bought, and I use it every day. I even bought accessories for it which is not something I usually do.
It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun!
You do get sick of cake and icing after a course, though.
woo hoo! Sure helped me when I was in Europe… there’s nothing quite like being able to ask for stamps without sounding like a tourist.
It’s good to know my granparents’ language, even if they don’t speak it anymore. I’ve been studying and in immersion for 10+ years.
Hosted Yolanda from Saragosa, Spain for 2 summers. Wish I could have gone over there!
Learned a lot about her culture, and had a lot of fun!
It’s worth it, you’re recognized & feel good about accomplishing something. Sometimes you get awards, too!
I graduated as a scholar, which is having a GPA of over 3.8 on a 4.0 scale.
