move somewhere nice, on the east coast.

I just got here about 2 weeks ago, and I just want to meet some people, and be social.

I moved here about a month ago with a friend from Cleveland, so far we are less than impressed. I’m not a stingy bastanrd and me and my Roommate are about the most sociable people ever. BUT… The prices here are ridiculous, the people around us are stuck WAY up, and the traffic is a joke. Someone give me a hint why everyone is always raving about this place, and what I need to do to turn this slump around QUICK. I’m all ears, cause I’m tired of my friends calling “how is it?, it’s the best place ever isn’t it!” and I have to sigh and say, eh, it’s ok. Ha, help us out!
