And the proposal was perfect. It was at the Tractor Tavern last Friday. When Tim Seely came back on stage for his encore, he had Ross come up on stage-and I was taken along too. So, on the stage at the Tractor, Ross proposed, it was so great! Then Tim stepped up with his acoustic guitar and played the Actual Tiger’s song Testimony, which is what Ross and I consider “our song”. I don’t think I could ask for a better marriage proposal. What a guy!

In the fall I took a great 6 week sewing class through North Seattle Community College. I found a cool old Kenmore sewing machine on craigslist for $30, such a score. I made pajamas in the class, that are technically done fine, but now that they are finished, I think the orange material I picked is UGLY. So next I wanted to do a jumper but that turned out way too big and frumpy. I’ve found a better jumper pattern to try, and I know I better get moving on it before I forget all the sewing skills that I learned.
I’m very very sorry to say that I’m just awful at this. My parents can keep a nice pointsetta from Christmas alive to see multiple other Chistmases. Mine are already dead, and I thought I was being such a good waterer. (I guess the leaving for a week when it was pretty cold didn’t help) Then I brought a nice rosemary plant home from work with hopes of planting it outside once the ground warmed up a little. I thought that rosemary would grow no matter what, and I thought I watered it. But, alas, it only stayed alive for about a month.
