I really like my PowerBook as a well rounded computer, not just a notebook. There may be cheaper notebooks, but not with as good a graphics card. I’d say price is competitive with that in consideration.
I still like it for making graphic elements on web pages and whatnot.
I’ve got a plan to do this with all my Kung Fu pals. Our Grandmaster and Simo are trying to organize a trip to do. Big $$$. But sounds totally worth it.
