How I did it: It’s very easy and well worth the effort. 1. Go to the supermarket during your lunch break and buy a packet of jelly. 2. Go to the lunch room and make the jelly according the the directions on the packet. For extra fun, bring a friend along. 3. Wait for the jelly to set. This takes approx. four hours. 4. I can play some songs now. I can play New Slang and Just Pretend by The Bens. I don’t quite rock yet, but I’m getting there.

Bertie Blackman at The Gaelic supported by Kimbra and Hungry Kids of Hungary earlier this month with Cat and Heidi. Can’t remember the exact date.
On the 31st I went with Heidi, her boyfriend Adam and Jen to see Ben Folds (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) at The Opera House. Still buzzing 2 days later.
Lat night I was at my friend Heidi’s place and her little brother came out and sang “Somewhere beyond the sea” to us on his Ukulele. Now I’m totally inspired. I’m going to buy a uke with my tax money and learn some Ben Folds covers.
