This is the newest thing in my little list of extreme sports to try. I’ve been skydiving already so I want to try this now.
I want to grow it long so I will have more choice as to what to do with it (Keep it? Chop it all off? Get dreads??) The choices will be endless!!
This isn’t really feasible at the moment as I am currently living off Centrelink, so I will postpone this one until I actually get a job. This goal will help me with two others as well!!
I want to move out because I will be able to live closer to where I work (I’m getting a job in Mooloolaba and the people I would be moving in with live in the area), plus my friends will also be closer!
I really need a new job.. I lost my last one because my boss stuffed me around with my hours and pay.
I’m living off Centrelink at the moment and I hate it.
I’ve been stretching every few days to try and get some of my flexibility up as well, so we shall see how that goes :)
I should start planning where I want to go.. I’m thinking about maybe Byron bay or Bondi, but I wont be able to do anything until I get a job anyway, which is definitely number one on my list!
I’ve pretty much turned into a clean Nazi lately.. I have to have everything in a certain place now, and everything always has to be spotless.. so at least I know for sure I accomplished my goal!!
I want to get better at walking in heels. I can do it, but it takes an annoying amount of concentration to not fall over and break my neck. Plus my feet always hurt afterwards.
I plan to get one duty free at the airport when I leave for Bali.
It MUST have manual focus!! Gah! I take a lot of photos of fire twirling so I need a camera that has adjustable focus.
I do currently own a car, but I want to save up and get one that’s better and safer to drive. I plan to save money for a good long while for this, as I don’t really want to get a secondhand car. I would love to have a Jeep Wrangler or a Subaru Forester. Both of them are over $30,000 brand new, so I have a lot of saving to do!
I need to exercise more. I’m not really overweight, but I could stand to lose a few Kilos. I want to do it so I can feel healthier, and get back my flexibility that I used to have when I did gymnastics when I was a lot younger.
I plan to join a gym in my area that is pretty cheap, and offers Yoga and other such classes as a part of the membership which I’m really looking forward to. I’m not joining just yet though, as I am going to Bali in two weeks, so there’s not much point in forking up all of that money just yet.
I already fire twirl every Wednesday night with a bunch of my friend, and for a long while I was an avid staff user. That was, until my wicks shat themselves, and I developed an obsession with Fire Fans and Poi. As well as that, no matter how much I would practice, I just wasn’t getting any better.
I fist used poi when I was about 15, and never with fire (I didn’t even know Fire Poi existed back then!!) And I was decent enough at it. When I fist got into staves I gave up on Poi. But now that I want a set of Fans, the closest I can get to them at the moment is Poi as they have the same general wrist movements, and a lot of the moves translate easily over to Fans.
So for now I have picked Poi back up, and after just two weeks of practice (about 20min to an hour a day) I’ve gotten really good at it! Enough so for the semi-pro guys that I see down at the beach that I go twirling at to comment! As well as that, a bunch of pro photographers like to come down every few weeks and they use us as practice materials for candid shots, and we also get to see what we look like twirling as a bonus!
I can’t wait until I get my Fans, as it will be a new adventure!
I have had my car serviced once since I got it two years ago. It desperately needs it. The clutch is extremely loose, as is the handbrake, and my brake pads need to be replaced. I should probably do this in the next week, so I don’t cause an accident or anything, my car is probably a hazard by now!!
I’m just glad that it has never leaked oil, or anything of the sort. The only major problem I have had was when my radiator cracked, but the person who owned it before me hadn’t gotten it cleaned when he last got it serviced. That and my car is 19 years old!
Gawd knows I need to get organized. I have absolutely horrible time management (for the most part. I’m never late to anything, but I’m horrible disorganized)
Alright! I admit it! I’m a total slob!!! Haha
I try my best to keep organized, but sometimes I get a bit lazy, and I tend to let my room get a little bit on the messy side. It’s the same with my bathroom counter really, I never bother to put anything away after I use it. I guess it’s an ongoing thing, although I have been really clean lately. :D
I want to find a style that is uniquely me, that I feel comfortable in, looks good, and that I can wear out to nice places.
I am going to Bali in a little over three weeks (which is where my Save money for Bali came from) So I plan to buy myself a whole new wardrobe over there, as I acheived my $1000 (with thanks to the Rudd government and his “stimulus package” Hah! I’ll be “stimulating” Bali’s economy instead!! :D
I am hopeless at saving money. Like you wouldn’t believe.
We shall see how much I can save before June this year when I go hmm?
I am aiming for $1000AU
