In a matter of 1 1/2 years I got 2 DUI’s. BAD!!! My last one was almost 2 years ago so I think I’m on the road to straightening out my ways and behaving better. I’m not partying and drinking so much and I’ve definitely learned to be more responsible about everything. I’m by no means done with this yet, but I think I’m on a good road.

How I did it: I've been tutoring high school age kids for a few years now and I decided since I needed a part time job that I would really get serious about tutoring. So I placed ads on craigslist and other free tutoring sites. I now have about 7 students so that works out to around 15-20 hours a week. I set up my own schedule and set my own hourly rate and it's great. I love tutoring and it's a great source of weekly income too! Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I saved $1000 for a down payment. Then I researched online for different cars. I wrote down a few to look at and spent a weekend test driving and looking. I found one I liked so with my $1000 I purchased a newer car. Having a car payment is definitely worth driving my cute civic around town! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I really had to be hard on myself about the time I was leaving my house every morning. Whether I was all the way finished getting ready or not, I'd leave. Some mornings with wet hair or no makeup but I made it on time and mostly early every day to work for the last few months. Read how I did it…

I’d like to have an emergency fund for a rainy day just in case something comes up. I have a 401K but I can’t use that money until I’m 65. I need money saved in case my car needs repaired or if I spontaneously want to go out of town for a weekend. It would be 911/fun-out-of-town money.
I’m a very positive and outgoing person 95% of the time. I just let little things get to me once in a while that are completely ridiculous and shouldn’t have such a huge impact on my mood. I am a girl, so hormones play a big role in this too, but I’d like to be able to have a sunshiney morning every day! Not to let work and boyfriend issues get in my way.
