I know, I know, everyone always says they want to find the cure for cancer, and though that would be great if I were in the field of carcinogenic research (and feasible), but since I’m not, I’d like to just discover something that has an important public health implication. I’d be happy with that.
Even on my most tragic, debilitating days, I at least make the physical effort to smile, even if it has no heart behind it. More often than not, I think about something that “actually” made me smile, and it projects into a real one.
