How to understand someone on a deep level

How I did it: With several people, actually.I just began listening. Being sensitive to the broken around me, carefully cracking into the mask they wore in their everyday lives.And then one day, your words will hit the right spot and the pain or the thoughts will just flow. Sometimes you're not going to know what to do, it's unfamiliar. But remember to first always listen."Wow.
