I’m hoping great ideas will rub off on me. I think thing one is to be inspired myself. No progress yet. I have a feeling if I would get started on my eating, exercise and meditation goals, all the pieces would fall into place.

How I did it: First, I have to admit that I'm not that GOOD on the ukulele. But the beauty of the ukulele is that it doesn't MATTER! I bought a cheap ukulele for around $80 (the VERY cheapest ones can be frustrating to tune). And I bought a handy laminated chord chart for about $3. I used the web and songbooks to look up the chords to familiar songs. Read how I did it…
I have wanted to do this forever, but I couldn’t seem to remember to do it. Then one day, by chance, I discovered a plastic grocery bag in my coat pocket that I had absentmindedly stuffed there, so I handed it to the cashier and felt very “with it”.
Now, I try to remember to stuff the grocery bags back into my coat pockets and purse when I get home from the store. They hardly take any space in my pockets, and I have a lot of them from my former days as part of the problem.
my 7pm reminder hasn’t been exactly bulletproof—it woke me from a nap the other night… But it has been helpign me stay motivated. I actually opened all of my bills, and none of them are overdue yet! I’d better go write out those checks right now.
