I graduated high school with the vision that I wanted to go into acting and writing; I always loved it so why not? After a year, I had to opportunity to travel abroad and work with a nonprofit organization working for sustainability in a town in Swaziland. Upon returning home I felt called to something bigger than acting and writing, so I dropped out of the program and took a year to apply for a Child and Youth Care degree. I loved the first year, but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m doing the degree because it’s noble. I still have this dream to write a book and a screenplay…so I’m taking the next three weeks of my life to try and get my act together and find a program I feel confident in, whether that’s a brand new one or the one I’m in now.
