I think one of the next “fads” in the liquor industry will be cachaca (Brasilian rum). I’m looking for people that might know about liquor distributing in the US. I have the knowledge and contacts in Brazil. Does anyone want to help?

Hey…
I’ve been doing it for 10 years. I usually make apple wine. I made grape wine for the first time this year (Merlot and Cab). It’s not difficult. Grape is much easier than apple. What is difficult is getting the first batch made. Once you have all the equipment you need, you just have a few hours of work each year to continue….. Or, take your time at it. I’m to the point that I am putting wine into small (1-5 gallon) oak barrels for aging. It’s fun. Write if you need help.
I have started a couple businesses which involve the sales of niche construction supplies. One of my current projects involves the sale of trench drain. This product is a long, channel-like drain that has a grating which covers the channel. It is used to quickly evacuate water from large surfaces, such as airport runways and vehicle maintenance facilities. My website is www.trenchdrain.biz. I hope to someday be able to operate this business with a telephone and laptop computer from anywhere in the world.
I’m also interested in importing wine and rum into the United States…..but that is another story.
