I started filling in what I remember on Geni.com and it is way harder than I thought it would be. I hate trying to remember who changed their name when married/devorced. And I don’t know further than my grandparents on either side. Dad’s side is from Trannsavania Romaina, Mom’s side from Greece. Anyone know of a site with immigration records or foreign records?

Just pick a recipe and go for it. My biggest problem when starting was not kneading long enough. Dough goes through 3 stages, sticky just mixed, hard to mix- underkneaded, soft and elasticy and read to start rising. I haven’t bought bread since I started making my own almost a year ago.
We all have goals that take money such as taking a vacation, paying off student loans, buying a new car etc. Use those big goals as motivation. Think: “Do I want to eat out or save that 20 bucks, cook and eat at home for cheaper and put that extra money toward my dream house?” “Do I want to buy this widget/go to the bar/drive with no destination or use that money toward something more productive?”
Use the things you value to help you save money and find cheap ways to entertain yourself as you might notice much of your free money is spent because you are bored.
