Miffidy

I’ve sung one time in front of someone else, it was my brother, and I had to be REALLY drunk to do it. And I mean really sing, not just tra-la-la sing along with the radio or something. Anyway, everyone always tells me that I have a nice voice, and I agree with them (not to sound conceited), but no one’s heard my “shower voice” so to speak. I know I have a good voice, and I’ve always wanted to sing with a group, band, whatever, but I never have had the courage to do it. I even have a friend who is now in a widely-known band all over the world who has begged me on several occasions just to let him hear me, and he’s a very close friend. I can’t even do it for him! Is that sad? I guess it just boils down to a fear of being judged. Why I care I have no idea, but that’s about it.

If there’s an easy to get over this one I’d love to hear it…

and didn’t realize it until today! The time difference made it a conversation late into the early morning hours for me and into the evening for my brother, but it still counts, right? It could have been the wine, though…

and when I say “cut my hair” I mean hack it off short.
