I got hired last spring to be the new RA of family housing at Mills college.
I learned how to upload the pictures from my iPhone onto those digital pictures kiosks:) Plus making prints is really cheap!
One of my fall classes for 2011 was yoga, it it sure help me with my flexibility. Meanwhile my sister is on fire with her yoga practice
When I was pregnant with Ben my mom and I visited several cafes in San Francisco. It was a fun bonding experience:)
I decided to go hiking around the Mills campus with my little three year old. Because the campus has several hills we had quite the hike.
I just found out this month that I’ve been accepted to Mills college in Oakland CA! I start this fall, so in a way this is a small baby step in finally accomplishing this goal!
I went with my mom to the 6th annual norcal regional yoga championships and it was really inspiring to see the positions that the contestants could get their bodies into. It made me really want to start practicing yoga again someday soon.
I just saw North by Northwest and that makes 66 movies that I’ve seen so far on the AFI’s greatest american movies of all time list. And Overall I thought it was pretty good, it was interesting to see where the image of a guy running from a small plane close to a corn field originally came from. Next up Spartacus!
Alright…I’ve lived with a messy room for long enough. And after I put my son to bed I plan on cleaning it. Everything from the carpet to the top bunk bed. I took a before picture to get me motivated.
The only downside to growing my hair out long is that my four month old son loves to grab it in his little hands…otherwise i really like having long hair…it makes me feel younger. :)
I just got my hair permenently straightened last saturday and i totally think it was worth it. It feels so long and soft now compared to how it felt when i wore it curly. I got the japanese straightener called Yuko.
I started working my way through the most current list back in jan. and so far i’ve seen 43 movies. Thanks in large part to netflix. The last movies i’ve seen were Modern times (which i wasn’t aware charlie chaplin was in) and All about Eve which i saw bette davis for the first time. The hardest movie i’ve had to sit through so far has been clockwork orange.
I actually bought a walk man and I use it everyday to listen to NPR when I take my baby for a walk in my stroller.
