So I remembered back to my high school soccer camp days where all we would do is run around all day and eat buffet-style whatever we wanted and I lost so much weight and got in ridiculous shape in a matter of 2 weeks. I’m applying that same logic to my current situation, plus I’m keeping to my slow carb diet.
I realize back then I was 17 years old and now I’m 31 but screw it, I’m going for it – working out 2-3 times a day and just giving it my all. I’ve been doing this for over a month now and just this week my body is FINALLY starting to catch-up and get used to this regiment.
I’m not saying I’ll keep this up because it’s really not sustainable. I’m lucky enough to have a job where I can focus this much time on working out as a part-time job. However, with the holidays coming up I need to go all out now if I have any shot at getting under 190 lbs before the new year.

So I’m still at 200 lbs, 10 lbs away from my goal of 190, which I believe will allow for the 6-pack outline. I’m still on the Slow Carb Diet from the 4 hour body and I workout 8-10 times per week. I do a lot of interval training, mixing both cardio and strength training. I was hoping to boost my metabolism, which I think is working but I am definitely at a plateau.
I went ahead and wrote a check to my buddy for $300, which he can cash on Jan 1st if I weigh over 190 lbs. If I can’t lose 10 lbs in over 2 months then screw it.

I can see the finish line…I’m 10 lbs away from the weight I want to be at the rest of my life. I’ve been holding here at 200 lbs for quite a while but I’ve brought some balance back in my life so it’s been good. I’ve also been doing quite a bit of strength training and yoga so I’ve added a good bit of muscle and burned some fat.
10 lbs aways. So close. I came from 225 lbs and now my spare tire is thinning. I’ll be sure to post a picture when I get this done – which should hopefully be before Halloween!
