as others have said, we only get this one chance at life, and there’s no point wasting it regretting things.
Yes we all have to make choices, but as long as at the time, we believe we are making the right choice, then there is no point regretting it later if it turns out not to be such a good choice.
Looking back, I have made some stupid choices and decisions, but if I think further about them, if I had done things differently, then I wouldn’t be where I am today, living the life I have. So perhaps I wouldn’t do things the same again, but who is to say the alternative would have been any better?
Someone once told me that when faced with a decision,
“Think 20 or 30 years forward. Would you regret taking the chance, or not taking the opportunity? Imagine yourself 20 years older and go with your gut instinct – it’s usually right.”
I find it helps me to make decisions (which I am not good at!!)

I thought I should add it to my goals. We go away in the camper van, and survive quite happily with what it contains, so why so we feel the need to have a whole house crammed with ‘necessary’ items?
I have made a list of every cupboard, in every room, and am systematically going through each one – the plan is to be totally ruthless!
The dining room went quite well, chucked a load of stuff, and put a few things on Ebay. I was pleased with the results, expecially as it tends to be a dumping ground for stuff with nowhere else to go, so inspired – I set off upstairs to the kids rooms.
Sadly, this didn’t go quite as well, and both rooms still seem really cluttered! Perhaps I will have another go when they are back at school….

was hoping to put something a bit more ositive on here – but the dog failed the kennel club good citizen test. She did it all beautifully, didn’t even pull on the lead, but when it came to the lie down and stay – no chance, she wanted to play!
Never mind, try try try again…
