Yeah. Spain is pretty awesome. I’ve been to Madrid, Toledo, Avila, Salamanca, Barcelona, and Sevilla.
My favorite was by far Salamanca. I think everyone should visit Spain. Beautiful cities, and gorgeous countryside.

So I submitted a short story about a month ago to a few different magazines, and just got my 4th rejection letter from this round.
While it is slightly disheartening every time, it’s not as if this was my first rejection letter. I just kinda shurgged it off, as there are still 11 other magazines with a copy of the story who haven’t rejected me yet.
I think it’s worse for the people around me. Every time I get a rejection my friends and family get very sad and tell me to keep at it. I don’t think they understand how many times the average writer submits and gets turned down.
Ah well… I got a new story I’m working on anyway, so if this one gets turned down around the table, I’ve get this one.
